Thread: Stopping Shot on lairs?

What is the effect of stopping shot on lairs?


I understand that when applied to mobs the damage is spread out over the Ham bars, but in the case of a lair is the total damage applied tothe lair? If this is the case I'm thinking of going this route first as it will help taking lairs down quickly.

Works like a charm. Lairs dont have HAM so all damage is to the main pool.

I'm glad this post was here because I was wondering, has anyone else experienced that when shooting lairs w/ stopping shot, the first shot always hits very low? Ever lair I kill the first stopping shot hits for around 500 damage, then the rest return to the normal range (950-1400) damage, but always the first hits low. Anyone else notice this?

Try shooting lairs with Disarming Shots. They seem to do double damage. If it shows up as 300 damage in the chat window, 600 will float above the lair.

Stopping Shot seems to deal regular damage for me on nests.

oh no I notice a BIG difference. Destory faster = less mobs to spawn and kill you.
