Has anyone seen a hit to the feet, hands, or wrists?
If I remember correctly armor is 9 pieces:
Head, chest, left arm, left bracer, right arm, right bracer, gloves, legs, boots
I've seen left and right arm hits, but never wrist or hand hits, and I've seen leg hits, but never boot hits.
Are they very rare? Or do they get shown as something else when they happen? If those slots don't get hit you could save a fair amount of HAM by wearing 4 fewer piece of armor.

I use armor only in certain situations. I don't have a full suit - helm, chest, gloves, boots. I have seen all 4 pieces deflect damage for me.

I learned about this the hard way (running my boot armor condition to 60). I did some testing to learn how the condition was affected by battles and was able to figure some things out. I did alot of gnort missions, and I use point blank area for gnorts to clear them out faster, they attack my feet. Doing ton's of these missions brought down the condition alot because of the constant attacks from the gnorts at my feet. Try it, but I warned ya. Hands a few, head alot, both while in the prone position against NPC with some form of ranged weapon (head more then hands). When standing or kneeling is when I noticed more damage to my chest armor and legs, also a bit to arms in these two positions and while running (trying to circle around the NPC to avoid other agro mobs). So I guess you can say depending on what your killing, will depend on what armor will get effected the most. This might also help people determin what is best for them armorwise, one full suit or a mix and match.

Yes, shots can hit the gloves, boots, etc. If you're wearing armor there, look at the combat window. i believe the hits are just lumped into "arm hit" "leg hit" etc.
