Thread: What should i kill

I saw a post about a week ago, what is pretty good to kill? and give good xp?, well i cant remember or find the post and was just wondering if someone could tell me again,


it was around the xp give of 2-3k

What "level" are you in pistol development?


The #1 advice to XP is to spend a day experimenting on different mobs/tactics. If still no luck, move to a new planet and repeat. Most of the excellent PvE spots I found were through exploring. The best mob for one person might not work for another, I've found. Play-style, gear, droid/stims, all matter.


#1 get a droid and group them with you, or get a friend to group with you who isn't going to hunt with you, that way you get the group XP bonus. It's a big bonus, don't treat it lightly.


#1.5 Get novice medic + stims, you can always drop it later if you dont want it on your final template.


#2 Lair bounce. Get two missions for your ideal XP mob in the same direction (and fairly similar range). Go to lair #1, kill everything here, shoot lair until spawn, kill spawned mobs, repeat until lair is about 1/4 dead. Then run to the next lair and do the same. Then run BACK to lair #1, and if you ran away far enough (if not, run far enough away and re-try), it will be full health so you get to do the same thing again. Repeat this until you're fingers are raw, and YOU TOO can be considered overpowered because you use pistols and XP fast! Oh wait, this applies to any profession, my mistake


Early on, to specialist, I found diseased bocats to be excellent on Tatooine. Super easy kills. For example. I don't personally like to post spoilers, but that's a start

Iam going to try those cat things on tatooine now, i'm just earning my xp for int stances and grips and i've got about 50k to go.


Iwas trying to hold off the medic side of things but i dont know, i might pick it up now, it would be usefull but im abit undecided i want to spend loads of time with my pistol,


Good call on grouping, i completly forgot about group xp, im doing almost what you said im doing faction missions then just running around killing things in the area then running back to town and getting my HAM wounds dealt with, actualy i think i will get medic now i liked the idea of it before just i didn't want to take up artisan as well so i might just buy the stimps, cant hurt and as you said i can drop it later.


Ive got a SB 70-172 energy damage, and thats the only pistol i have so i think i should invest in another weapon for damage type,i dont want to go white water rafting without a paddle type scenario - Should i get a fwg5?


Are other coloured blaster weapons in existence for players, ive seen blue and green lasers been shot by mobs or whatever, but can we own different coloured laser pistols?


Tont know if that makes sense,

Your weapon looks good IMO, I XP'd with worse. Scouts have super low action cost, making it nice over time.


If you're already into pistoleer, you won't want bocats, they are for marksman pistol XP. By your rank, you need to move on to something else. As I said, by then I was on pistol-whip type mobs or super-slow mobs (that were fixed), so I'm not much help on where to go next.
