Thread: Ok, Whiners, Nerf-Cheerers on both sides knock it off.
After reading a post where a young gunner complained about Bounty Hunters who killed him when he took a shuttle to a KNOWN Imperial city, I have to intervene.
Please think before posting something completely stupid and or naive. It makes us look like crybabies.
And try to stop whining about Bounty Hunter pistols. Four boxes of pistol aiming / speed do not equal the 18 boxes of pistoleer skill. Bounty Hunters are a different class and a master BH is simply not as good with pistol as a Master Pistoleer.
There will never be a single class in this game that rules all others. But you can differentiate yourself by concentrating on tactics and your unique abilities.
So far with my pistoleer tree at 2/3/2/2 I have not lost a pistol duel with a BH. I've had four and one was an avenger. This is all post-nerf. They were all friendly duels where we'd stim each other after the incap instead of db'ing.
Personally I think the skill tree descriptions of BH are a little blown out and their reputation is bigger than the actual comparitive skills. Bounty Hunter is not automatically super anything, it's just another class with its pros and cons.
I guess what I'm saying is when you actually analyze things its useless to whine and much better to discuss things constructively and talk about tactics, not gloating about possible nerfs and jumping all over each other. BH and pistoleer should both agree that they should not inherently own one another, but should be equal if both players use the advantages inherent to their class and or skill set.
I don't stay the Master of any one skill too long and after Pistoleer I might take up Bounty Hunter. So let's talk about ways to make each other stronger, not sit here and cheer nerfing and insult one another.
And if I ever hear someone whine about Bounty Hunters because they were over rebs taking a shuttle into a known Imp town and got killed by two BH I'm going to be sick.

I have no poblems with BH power at the moment, but 4 BH pistol boxes is equal to 16 pistoleer boxes in terms of pistol speed and accuracy. But as you when defense works this will even out.
The problem is, that all BH are scraming to nerf Pistoleers because they think they should b the bst class in the game and use the fact that they use so many skill points to achieve master. They don't add the fact that m,any of those skill points go into scouting andinvestigation. And there combat doesn't flow into just 1 weapon but rather into 4 waepons (including the broken LLC).
Asking a Pistoleer to stop crying for a nerf is like trying to stop a mass of women during a dollar day sale at the mall.. It cant be done.

The only way to Nerf a pistoleer is to Nerf pistols. When you were grinding up the marksman tree which weapon did you prefer to use? When you grind up BH, what line do you use? What do you know, the answer to both of those is pistol. Anyone using marksman pistol or BH pistol will feel the effects of a "Pistoleer Nerf"more than the pistoleer because the ONLY way to nerf us is to change the pistol.
