Thread: Which best compliments Master Pistoleer for pvp? Smuggler pistol line or Bounty Hunter pistol line?

with smuggler you get the dirty fighting tree. basically the most powerful pistol moves there are right now. you also have quite a few more points to spend on other skills. with BH you get eye shot, which is amazing, as well as huge gains in accuracy and speed. you also get to use the scatter pistol. But, you arent left with many skill points because of having to master both scout and marksman just to get novice BH. so its a tradeoff. many people went the smuggler way. they are deadly in PvP. especilly with panic shot.
smuggler gets a little better specials, and more points left over for other professions.
BH gets to use a scatter, as well as hitting the speedcap. which means i will fire even the highest delay specials at 1.0 seconds each. but you dont have much room left to add other professions.
your pick i guess. i am partial to the BH line, because thats were i started. almost MBH, dropped all but pistol and now almost master pistoleer.

im curious about this to
say if one does go the smuggler line and uses the points to go commando how good is the launcher pistol? withthe speed and acc. and the specials?

waht im doing is a classsic combo .. 0104 pistoller 0040 BH 0040 smuggler... waht taht give you is massive speed decent accuracy and some of the most devistating specials in the game + the scatter cert
lowbow= ranged KD
panic shot = 10sec delay
last ditch = devestaing NON aoe attack to random pool
eye shot=mind damamge + blind
torso shot= health damage + a fire DOT
with taht you should have around 109 speed... accuracy im NOt to shure on .. but i picked up a nice scoped scatter liek 198 max damge witha damage slice MAssive ham cost but a good PvP weapon, cuz you can hit with it.
i have yet to realy go in to PvP yet with this combo im still finnishing up need 2 more boxes in BH and im done. but the basic idea is, lowblow to KD then panic shot to keep them down then last ditch.. OR alot of ppl go in to PvP with just doc buffs. and you can slauget them with eye shot i was doiing 250-250 damage with my scatter last night in a duel with eye shot... not to shabby for a pistol. whn i get more speed it will be so much better
the thing with Smuggler specials is they are SLOW so you realy need the Bh speed and the pistol speed to use them effecently. i cant wait for the +20 at Bh pistols 3

BH pistol line is the best compliment UNLESS you want to defence stack. In that case, grab Dirty 4 and choose some good stacking (I suggest master TKA and 4-0-3-0 fencer). Either combo you will own 95% of your server.
