I know that each time I repair a weapon, the max condition drops slightly and the damage numbers drop slightly as well. I've gotten used to that.
Well, I have a Krayt FWG5 that I bought ages ago. It's been repaired twice, but was still at 60-250 damage and 1.1 speed. The condition was getting low again (about 150/895) so I was going to repair it. I wanted to see how much the stats would drop, so I checked out the stats before repairing. To my dismay, this weapon suddenly is 23-101 with 1.1 speed. I thought maybe Krayt FWG5's had been somehow adjusted, but I have another which is still 70-279/1.4.
Did my weapon stats drop because I let the condition slip so low? If so, that really sucks, and I'd appreciate any advice about when to repair a weapon for best effectiveness.

Yup, i've had that happen too. I think the stats drop when it's less than 25% condition (maybe it's 10%, don't remember for sure right now). Anyways, you should repair it before it hits 50% to have the best chance of not damaging it.
