Hi there ..i was wondering if somone could answer some questions for me ,

I have mastered marksmen , and moved into Pistoleer 0 1 1 0 atm

I have a scatter gun from my novice BH as well

I have seen some people get weapons with 175 350 stats for tha gun .

I just recently bought a sliced gun for . roughly 105 245 thinking it was not too bad . Where would I get a weapon like the one above ? Also how much modifications can somone do to a gun who is not a weaponsmith ? I have collected alot of scopes and things but can't add them or anything .

also I know this will seem like a stupid question for some of you , but I am still learning the game ..so What is sliced mean ? And what is tissue mean ( other than kleenex )

Dont worry too much about tissues, scopes and such... these are all stuff that you find/loot that weaponsmiths use to make guns with, ignore scopes especially, as weaponsmiths can make scopes better than the ones you can loot.

"Tissues" are Krayt Tissues from Krayt Dragons... weaponsmiths use them to increase the max damage on a gun and make it fire faster.

Slicing is done by smugglers. They have a chance to either increase that damage or speed of your gun, but if a stormtrooper scans you and finds you with sliced equipment then you can get a fine or a slap, but its not too much of a problem so everyone carries sliced stuff.

If you want to make your gun better, look on the bazaar and select entire galaxy, under Misc and Factory Crate you can sometimes find crates of "Tuned Muzzle of Sighting" powerups.

If they are cheaper than 6000 credits and have 10 items in the crate, buy them and go pick them up. These powerups can temporarily increase them damage of your gun, up to 33%.

The only problem with powerups, at least for a speed-capped pistoleer, is that they get used up so fast that's it's a pain to keep your weapon constantly powered up. They're spent before you even realize that they're gone. I usually keep one equipped on all the pistols that I carry in my inventory, in case I need heavy firepower in a hurry, but on my default gun (a DE-10 that I usually leave equipped), I rarely use them unless I need it for an especially difficult mob.

Although only a weaponsmith can use the krayt tissues, they'll almost never get the tissues themselves and make a gun for you with them. You have to get the tissues yourself by killing krayts and give them to a trusted smith to make a gun for you using them. Krayt tissues will always make a gun better than a normal crafted gun so if you can get some it will make your guns better. Krayts are big dragons and most people need friends to help kill them. They're on tatooine in the NE corner mostly at the krayt graveyard.
