is it worth it? iam already Pistoleer/Smuggler 0040.... and in duels id love for that Eye shot... but. i wont have my Meditate anymore. and i wont have medic. but i think if i keep moving... i sohuld be okay... right?

With Master Pistoleer/Rogue/Desperado you have the best pistol-template ingame. You're way above the speed cap, so you can do any special with any pistol at 1 per second. You get eyeshot and scatter pistols.But here's the problem: it's a pistol template. Pre-CURB that means that your DPS is piss poor compared to everyone else. You simply can't dish the damage to be very effective. Ranged is sub-par at the moment, and pistols are the most sub-par of the ranged professions when it comes to dishing out damage. Right now, you're still better off going TKM/MS/MP. However, in a post-CURB game,Pistoleer/Rogue/Desperado should be very mighty.

Of course, we don't know what the CURB is doing to that speed stacking yet.

so if i hold out intill CU... will the BH0040/MP/Smuggler 0040 get better?

According the the most recent CURB docs, you'll be able to go Master Smuggler/Master Pistoleer/Desperado. We assume that it'll be much better than right now, 'cuz the point of the CURB is to balance the profs. But that's mostly an assumption, 'cuz we don't have any specific info.

we don't really know what the CURB is going to do to any skills, really. We don't know how things will stack from one profession to another. We don't know if skill point costs are going to remain the same for professions.

basically, we don't know jack. We won't know until the devs start releasing more documentation on the CURB.

this profession is definitly worth it, and from what ive heard bh will cost less sp so even after getting this there is still room for more.

I'm thinking about trying BH pistols. Can I grind that without hunting anyone or being hunted? lol

at this point (not talking about cu here) i personally think that getting rogue is a waste of time and points.The only thingyou get that is worth having in that tree is last ditch, which has a 7x modifier on damage, but stopping shot has a 6x modifier, which isn't that much worse. If you want the delay attack, just pick up novice brawler for warcry and save yourself 34 points. Anyway, BH pistols is way better thansmuggler pistolsand definately worth it. It gives u speed, accuracy and the best pistoleer attacks for pvp. Torso shot and eye shot are both extremely useful in pvp. If i use Torso shot and stack a few bleeds on the guy, he starts taking damage like crazy. So, it is almost pointless to go pistoleer unless you get bh pistols, if you are going to pvp. My suggestionforthe extra points you have would be to pick up 0-0-4-0 medic, so you can use stim Es, and maybe the bh carbines line (getting 0-3-0-0 carbineer with this would be helpful too). With carbines you can dizzy/kd the guy then use your pistols to kick the crap out of them. Medic and carbine skills would be infinitely more helpful then last ditch.

I have had this template for around six months now and i really enjoy it. although it isnt a pvp template it contains every special for pistols in game and you get to use evey pistol in game apart from the launcher, which isnt a major loss but you could also pick up novice commando for that.

As i say it isnt a pvp template but is one that i have definately had fun with.
