With this skill point relocation business coming up shortly (6 weeks i believe), will we be given the opportunity to retemplate ourselves however we please? ie. i'm a pistoleer/swords/med at the moment - will i be able to surrender all my skills and pick swordsman/fencer/marksman for instancE?

Yes, you will be able to respec your combat skills, with certain restrictions (exchanging for equivalent-level skills, and only exchanging skills that are relavant to the CU).
