Thread: Pistoleer Elite Elite Classes. Post Opinions No Flaming Plz!
I was thinking that they should add pistoleer elite elite classes. This is obvouisly something they are going to add anyways in the future... i hope. But here is some of the ideas i was brewing. You must specialize in these skills, meaning if you go deep you can only go deep meaning you CANNOT multitask and get the "best" of the class. I dont know alot of differnt pistols so the certs are a little weak. Only the most dedicated to theprofession would achieve these heights. After achieveing novice in one of these skills you lose Xp for cloning on top of your decay. After losing enough xp you would eventually have to start to give up novice profession.
Veteran Gunfighter: Required- Master Gunfighter,Dual Wielding techniques, advanced multi acquisition and targeting with the ability to lay down accurate, extremely well placed shots on many targets at once. Large range penalty not as fast as Heroine but use of 2 pistols offsets speed, balancing it out. Veteran would have gun spinning abilities or "tricks" that would kinda heal theHAM pools like creatures can do. Higher level tricks could be done in combat novice tricks would have to be done in a concentration type of a atmosphere. The master skill of this profession could be multitargetting many people while spinning and shooting jango fett style.(During master skill healing and dealing damage would be catostrophic to enemies. )Certs=westar34 blaster)
Heroine Gunfighter: Required- Master Gunfighter and Bounty Hunter Pistol, single pistol use, ability to deal a punishing barrage of machine gun-like fire from a single pistol. The ability to hit multiple pools can create a bad day for any person wishing to fight. The master skill of this could be setting the speed of the attack so you dont drain to much pool at once. The heroine will have some abilities like quickdrawing always giving the first shot in a duel and maybe ending it with that one shot. Get some tricks but nothing compared to veteran. (Except with maybe jedi the chances would be lowered due to seeing slightly into the future. Certs= Westar34 blaster)
Some people might not like this because jango fett is the dual wielders, but this is mostly based around the pistoleers so i gave them the dual wielding. Thats all i could think of.
XP REQUIREMENTS
Novice Heroine or Veteran 1,000,000 Xp
Tier 1 450,000 Xp each one
Tier 2 575,000 Xp each one
Tier 3 725,000 Xp Each one
Tier 4 1,000,000 Xp each one
Final Box 5,000,000 Xp
Each Death would be a loss of xp ranging from 50,000-500,000 Xp depending on how close you are to the top
!
You might think these requirements are steep but these are huge goals that are attainable over long periods of time. So you dont actually get bored with the game! ![]()
I hope you all enjoy reading this and good luck to you all!
They've said they'll be releasing more elite elite professions in the future, but that doesn't mean to say any of them will be combat based. That said, there's nothing to stop them from doing so. If they were to do so I don't believe it'd stem from any one combat class. I think they'd take up pretty much as many SP as they possibely can. I'd do this by having requirements of several trees from various different combat elite professions, perhaps one of Teras Kasi, on of riflemen, one of pistoleer, that sort of thing.
As to what they'd actually be ingame, we've got commando, so I guess they'd have to be either 'secret agent' and have to be aligned to a faction, or just'assasin' (however, to do that, they'd have to change the rollof the BH, as that's what they dogiven the limitations of their missions).
Either way, I don't see them being made for a long time.. although it would be niceif there was a class out there that when they reach master was higher thanlevel 70, beating the monstrositiesof Star Wars meets (dareI say the P word? no, best not)pet animalsfighting eachother. Wow, I managed to change that into an unsubtle attempt at a subtle rant, go me.
Anyway, elite elite yes, stop the whining of many people over "who's class is the best at combat and why it should be mine".... although, you know, I can't help feeling that the moment they get such a class working, the boards would crash due the vast amounts of postings popping up containing the word "nerf"
you should see the elite elite ideas for the rangers
Antarian Ranger (faction aligned)
Infiltrator
Native Guide
Park Ranger
some of these pistoleer ideas are really good too. Keep them up, I like the creativity
