Thread: What do you think of my to be character plan?

Unless you've got about55 more skill points than everyone else, you can't do that combination.
Master Pistoleer & Smuggler are 63 points each. 126 together.
Pre-reqs for Smuggler & Pistoleer cost 58 points. 184 points total.
Master Medic (Pre-req for Doc) is 73 points. 257 total
Novice Doc + 3 lines of Docis 48 points. 305 points total.
My math may be off by a few points one way or another, but you're still way over.
Does that math work or is it still off?

Well you can get
Master Smuggler
Master Pistoleer
Medic 4/4/4/3
You will have 0 points left and no scout but it seems like it would be a good template. You would have good heals and good first aid plus you could make your own stim packs.
Combat wise you would be an excellent pistoleer you will want to use a fast pistol like speed 1.0 becuase your going to be competing with people with pistol speeds over 100 but master pistoleer with a 1.0 speed pistol maxs out his speed anyways so the extra speed you oponent will have wont mean anything.
Althought i would probably go Medic 4/4/3/4 that way you have plenty of experimentation points for making stim packs but you would only be able to use up to stim pack-c which is plenty.

But yeah, if its Pistoleer/Smuggler/Medic that seems likea good combo. With mounts out, scout skills are less important but I still like them, even if one of my professions didn't require it.
If you're going to go 4/4/4/0 Medic, I would just not bother with the crafting line. You're going to be able to use Stim B's only, and those can be bought pretty cheap all things considered. Maybe even go lower in Medic and take the Terrain negotiation in Scout.
