Does anyone know how to get certified for the Republic Blaster Lady Valarian awards?

how the heck we get this???

Marksmen can get this certification now.

I've wondered about this, as I've had the Republic Blaster cert for awhile (it's listed under my certs on my character sheet)... however, I have no idea how I got it. The interesting thing is I got the Republic Blaster cert while I was still a RIFLEMAN, which leads me to believe I had to get itsomewhere in the Marksman line (before I went Pistoleer, I maxedthe Rifle and Combat trees of Marksman).

The only other interesting note is that I was one of the few who did the Valarian missions in Mos Eisley instead of the uber-popular Jabba missions. The first or second mission you do for one of Lady Valarian's henchman nets you a Republic Blaster as a reward (or did at the time I did it). Again, I was a Rifleman at the time,so I ended up givingthe Republic Blasterto a friend, but that's the only thing I can think that I did differently than most people.

It truly is a mystery... if anyone's interested, I'll post a screenshot of the cert on my char sheet... I just bought my first Republic Blaster after the patch and it's pretty cool (Energy and AP1), with a sound around the same uniqueness as the Spraystick. Too bad it looks like a supersoaker filled with dairy product...

it will still work, just equip the gun. Aparently Zabrak dont have the cert listed but it still works for them. And regardless of listed cert if you examine the weapon it says 'Certified: No' so you can ignore that too

I show up as having this cert, however every time I look at one in game the screen says certified: No. Personally I would really like to get one at least for fun, but am sceptical about purchasing something I cannot actually use. Do they say you aren't certified even though the game will allow you to use them? If so is it at reduced damage? Or are there different ones that actually will show up as "certified: yes"? I have yet to find them though. 8(
