Yesterday i bought a DL44 metal krayat pistol for 450k credits.

Today its condition is 606 from 890. **edit**??!?! i got it sliced ive been using power ups and almost non stop sepcials.

Is there a special that kills the condition more then the rest? or anyone know why this is happening?

sould it be my smuggler specials?

Stop using powerups.

do you know why or do you just have a feeling?

I hear slicing a weapon wears it out faster, but not sure about Powerups. I dont think any specials wear it out faster except for Overcharge 1 and 2. I usually use two weapons, one good one for PvP's and PvE's and one cheap one for destroying camps, mounds and the like.

Your really gonna hate it when you try to repair a gun and it trashes it all together, even though you use a high quality weapon repair kit....doh!

Yes, powerups cause a weapon to decay very fast. Run a little experiment with your gun. Shoot 100 specials with a powerup and 100 without and see which causes decay faster.

seems a little strange to have my pistol wear out faster then i could ever make enough money to buy another one.

also the only way i can keep up with other professions is to spam specials.

other professions shoot just as fast or faster then me. i thought pistoleer was supposed to be one of the fastest. hrm

oh ya. which takes off less condition stopping shot or last ditch?

Slicing & using powerups both speed up decay.... only special shot im aware of that degrades weapon condition is overcharge1/2
