I'm curious guys, you are the experts, I'm newer at this.

In PvE (Player versus Environment...pvp holds no ground here) which class do you think would do better?

Master Pistoleer + Bounty Hunter pistol 4

Bah pressed enter too soon....master pistoleer + bounty hunter pistol 4 or commando with flamethrower 4?

I'd say the commando, if you have a pet or something/someone taking for you. I don't believe you have any delay/KD (I could be wrong there), but since you're talking PvE, you need those if you don't have someone/something tanking for you.

Assuming you have a tank, Commando's have a higher damage output than the pistoleer/bh combo, especially with the Fire DoT, and can kill things faster, IMHO. Not being either of these professions, though, my opinion is uninformed in the details, but from the broad perspective, that's what I've seen.

I'm a BH 0 0 4 0 Pistoleer 2 4 3 3 and I'd have to say commandows are better hunters than me.

We don't have time to discuss this in a committee.

commando. pistoleer is horrible for pve, it really is.

The best thing to do would be to pretend that neither of those templates is sufficient to solo in PvE. That way the devs won't nerf them to further encourage grouping.

I think they are both pretty sweet though.

Commando with Flamethrower 4 is better. The Master Pistoleer + Expert BH combo isn't great for PvE ... it doesn't even leave you with enough skill points for Novice Medic.

Thanks guys! Holo told me to master pistoleer, knew it would hit me harder than I wanted it to.

You people rock =). Staying with my commando for now, though I do really like Pistoleer.

Master Ranger Master Pistoleer

Works just fine for me traps + ranger to hit bonus, fanshot, bleeds, You can kite almost anything and spam specials with 2 stacking bleeds.....Add some medic skills for heal ups....Also your no PVP gimp either, pick you fights, get a good set of armor. In a group when attacking a mob lair I usally out damage everyone with fan shot spamming away on grouped up mobs.

There are a lot of ways to skin the cat but if your looking for an effective PVE combo think about this...

well i dont know how good commandos can hunt but i made about 600k yesterday . But i cant compare cause i never played a commando and had a 2 month break . Before this break they were crap

Im Expert BH and working up tp 4-3-4-3 in pistoleer. I have yet to be beat In PVP by a commando, and with my food buffs i can do over 1k dps with no problems. How can you beat that? Im curious... And the reason im not goin master pistoleer is because... welll not really worth it to me. Medic is imoportant.
