Thread: Speed Mod
I have found it makes a big difference. With +74 I could use Stopping Shot about once every 1.5 seconds. When I droped master and lost +20 and dropped to +54 the speed on Stopping Shot dropped back to once every3.5to 4 seconds.
since your pistol speed is 24, and the weapon speed is 1.5 it would be:
(1.5*specialDelayMod)-[(1.5*specialDelayMod)*(0.74)]
and lets say you will be firing stopping shot, which i believe has a delay of 4x. dont quote me on this as im not 100% sure. if it has a delay of 4x it owuld be:
(1.5*4)-[(1.5*4)*(0.74)]
= 6-(6*0.74)
=6-4.44
=1.56
so you would fire a weapon with 1.5 speed and a pistol mod of +74 at a rate of 1 shot every 1.56 seconds.
*note: if the number turns out to be less than one, it will still fire at one second (speed cap)
Jadecia, If i understand it right your speed will be less than 1 so it will capped at 1! Your pistol speed is 74 so for a normal shot it will be 2.5-(2.5*0.74)=0.65 but cap is 1 so speed will be 1!
So you could buy a pistol with a speed of 2.85 and still fire at 1.
no edit button. The above example is for normal shots, if you take special ones, you will see a huge difference in the speed of your gun.
Take the example above with the 1.5 speed gun and put in the speed of yours. You will have the shot every2.6 sec with your gun of 2.5 and 1.56 sec with the gun of 1.5.
(1.5*4)-[(1.5*4)*0.74]=1.56 (1.5 speed gun and 74 Pistol speed xp)
(2.5*4)-[(2.5*4)*0.74]=2.6 (2.5 speed gun and 74 Pistol speed xp)
