Thread: Question about stored pistol XP

ok, I have over 200k pistol experience save up. Right now I am 0,1,4,3 in pistoleer. But since I'm trying to unlock my fscs, and my 4th holo gave me BH (ouch yes), I'm gonna have to drop pistoleer skills. I also have master CH, and want to keep as much of that for as long as I can.


The question is, if I drop all pistoleer, and the novice pistoleer box, will I lose all ,or some , or none of this save up pistol experience?


Just to add, I have master marksmen at present if that makes any difference. I'd like to use this saved up pistol XP for the pistols tree in BH. But I'm grinding scout survival XP atm, and cant take novice BH for a bit. I once lost over 100k scouting xp when i dropped ranger, and dont want this to happen again with the pistol xp.


Any help would be much appreciated.

how much pistol xp do you have hoarded? I'd honestly just take the novice Bounty hunter then drop your pistol skills one by one as you needed the skillpoints. The lowest level boxes would be teh first to go, but thats just me.

lol shoulda read your post a bit more I suppose. 200k should be easy enough to quickly level in BH.

If you have a level 4 in any of the 3 pistol xp trees, you can save up to 900k.


The XP will NOT drop provided that from the time you drop them to the time you train up BH pistols - you do NOT SHOOT A PISTOL ONCE.


If you have 900k pistol xp saved up, then drop your whole pistoleer tree, then shoot a gnort - you'll lose 75%+ of that XP. However, if you don't shoot anything or get any more pistol xp, it'll stay at 900k - then you can train up yourBH Pistol.

i do believe your XP cap lowers as you drop boxes, so yes, if my understanding is correct, you will lose ungodly amounts of pistol XP by dropping pistoleer.
