Thread: A question about Pistol Speed
Sorry if this question has been asked many times before but I'm new to the profession and was wondering;
How is Pistol Speed with modifiers worked out exactly?
If, for example, I had a pistol with a speed of 2.0 and Pistol Speed +50would that mean the actual pistol speed would be 2.0/(1+50/100) = 1.3s
Also what exactly is the speed cap 1 or lower?
Thank you for your help
Its the same for all weapons:
Speed = Weapon Speed x Special Delay x (1 - Speed Modifier / 100)
So a speed of 50 on a 2.0 gun would be 1.0 fire rate if you're not using specials. Your rate of fire can't be less than 1 tho, so a speed of 75 would be 1.0 still, not 0.5, if you're using a special that has a 2x delay tho, you would shoot at 2.0 with a speed mod of 50 but at 1.0 still with a speed mod of 75.
