I plan on mastering BH (2-4-4-4 right now) and am 0-0-0-3 in pistoleer. Thinking of dropping novice medic to pick up techniques 4. Wondering if this is a good idea or not.

Seems to me like you have your 2 best shots already, so it looks like you have a choice between stimming yourself and the defense mods that come with Tech 4. I like being able to heal myself in battle, but then again, how useful is that if I am knocked down? Tough choice, I don't envy you at all. I think you've probably got the pistols XP to spare, so you could always try getting Tech 4, see how you like it, but if you find you miss the ability to heal yourself, pick novice medic back up.
