Which do you prefer, and why?

I dislike repubs because they are slow...

My scout is 180 dmg, 1.2 speed w/ powerup (got a decent slice for speed oh well)

I have not used anything but a RB since it became available. They are a little slower than a Scout (mine is 2.4 seconds) but the further up the Pistoleer Stances tree you get, the less this will matter. RB's have about 200 max dmg unsliced and 240-260 with a decent slice. To top it all off, they are Light Armor Piercing. All around better weapon for firepower. If you are not going to master pistoleer or invest in the stances tree, then the Scout is maybe the better choice.
