I'm only at pistols III, headed towards pistoleer. In my certefications list, it says I am certefifed for a Republic Blaster. Pretty good weapon, compared to my other options, so I bought one. After buying it, I noticed on the "examine" window that it said I wasn't certefied for it. I looked in the skill boxes andcouldn't find the level that gave me the certefication. Does it just show up? I equipped it and didn't get the "You're not certified" notice. When I shot it, the damage ranged from 100 points below max to 150 points above max. Is this normal?---Feck

Yes. The cert for this gun is wonky. Anyone can use it effectively, but at no point do you actually earn a cert for it. A nov entertainer is as certified as you'll ever be. If you don't think this thing is odd check out the range mods on it. Wacky.

It is a freaky gun, but I'm getting good hits with it, so I can't complain. Thanks for the information.
