Actually, it probably does work (technically) but disarming shot 1 and 2 really don't do anything anyway.

Disarming shot 1 and 2 are not meant to KD. You may be thinking of Pisto Melee Defense 1 and 2. PMD1 works (with about a 2 second kd) and PMD2 doesn't work at all, it just costs more HAM to use.

So what does it do. i thought i read in the pistoleer faq that its an AOE, anyone know?

Unless they changed it since I mastered, disarming shot damages your opponent's weapon. Against NPCs, if does random HAM damage. And against lairs, it damages a lot more than most other specials.

pistol melee defence 2 does kd but very very very very rarely so you might as well consider it not working. ds1 and 2 are both crappy skills...............

disarm 2 used to kd a while back, i think. Or it may have been multitarget pistol shot than was a ranged multitarget KD. Which ever it was it was gangster as hell, damien crow had master when it worked.

get the smuggler dirty fighting line u wont regret it. fanshot works nice against a horde of stormtroopers.... kills them good and fast =P

Gee you'd think with a title like Disarming Shot that you'd disarm your target (i.e. cause them to unequip their current weapon.), but I guess not.

lol ... I agree....I dont understand why that would be so hard to do...it would be great if in pvp (or pve) you could disarm your opponent...if he or she didnt have their weapon placed in the toolbar for easy acess they would be in big trouble...even if they did it still would delay their next atttack considerably....and it would anoy the hell out of them
