I was wondering that too last week. All I remember is that he disappeared and after a little while Randonb showed up. Conspiracy maybe....hmm.

To this day, we don't know. We don't know his real name, so I searched google for his screename, and didn't come up with anything recent. A couple of months ago I asked his guild by email what happened, and they don't know either.
Our only remaining avenue would be for me to ask Thunderheart for Philosopher1976's email address, if he still has it(TH can get in touch with all of us and vice versa, thoughitisused sparingly).
Sadly, given that he never came back to say what happened, I doubt he would respond to an email, presuming he is even able.. 
I'll likely ask TH what his address was anyway.
