Not to reign on your parade, but that would be insanly useless. If we need a new damage type it would be elec. Neither of which will happen but thats ok. I whish they would fix the DE-10 so its AP2, i mean come on, its a master level gun and really hard to get. They should also make the DX-2 worth using again. No new damage types are needed.

It's pretty easy, just put one in the fridge and take it out after 1 hour so , You'll a get a cold damage pistol- as in you'll get damage while holding it.

Remember...all damage types...armor...AP...etc. will all be changing with the combat revamp. Who knows...post revamp energy could be the most "uber" damage type.

Fun? What fun? An AP0 cold dmg showerhead rifle that nobody carries? I think an electricity damage pistol is a nice idea then you have a chance against droids.

Whilea cold or electric damage pistol would be nice personally I would rather see our specials fixed before any new guns added. Besides we have more damage types than anyone else now anyway.
