Ok, last night I made my first trip EVER to the DWB. I was buffed, and had brandy...so I figured I would be good to go. Though, I figured I'd get my butt handed to me anyway.
Problem was, when I got there, I got tied up with a Battle Droid that kept stacking bleeds on me...but that's beside the point.
My real question is, what happens to our +Dodge mods when we go to the DWB? Against any other content in the game, I can drop to a knee and roll and evade attacks. However, at the DWB, NOTHING missed me. I realize that they probably have great accuracy. But, I can go up against 5 Janta's who are all using melee on me at point blank range and not get hit that many times.
At one point, I had 3 Henchman, and that stupid Battle Droid all shooting at me at the same time. Not once did I side-step, duck, or perform any other form of Dodge. I'll give the Droid points for accuracy, but my Dodge mods should have kicked in at least a little bit. I'm not kidding when I say the thing NEVER missed. I looked back at my combat que when it was all said and done, and there wasn't one single -miss- or -evade-in the whole thing.
*shrug*
Regardless, I'll probably wait a while before I make another trip out to the DWB. I need better weapons (specifically a stronger DX2), and better gear in general. And, now that I've been there, I kind of know what to expect and how to plan a little better next time.

were you moving around? The dodge animation is basically "turned off" but you may have still dodged. Ill test dodge 'indoors' but Im fairly certain you should be able to dodge attacks.

Yes, I was moving.
I was also "hiding" behind walls, for whatever good that does, since the things can shoot through walls anyway.
As I said, this was my first ever trip to the DWB, so I had no idea what to expect.
Most of my time recently has been going up against Rancors, Jantas, and Mokks...all of which I can dodge and evade fairly easily. I usually kneel, since I like to watch my toon roll and tumble around while I'm dodging. But I didn't get any of that at the DWB. Even when I was outside of the Bunker...which is where I ran to after my second Feign Death. The Droid followed me up there, and I still couldn't dodge it.

Have you read the combat log afterwards? I have spent many a happy hour down there and the dodge animation does not seem to activate as much, but on reading the combat log I was dodging some of the attacks. Usually I would only be hit about 2 - 3 times before the blacksun guy was down. The blind from eyeshot also helped...

Yeah, I read the combat log afterwards.
I don't think it was so much an issue with the Henchmen, though they also rarely missed. But, looking back at the combat log, I figured I was getting hit 19 out of every 20 shots. I wasn't dodging AT ALL. It's not just the animation I was looking for, I also looked for -evades- in the Combat log...there were none.
I was hoping I wasn't the only one who's experienced this problem.
As far as Eyeshot...I'm not a BH, (and have no plans of adding it to my template) so that's of no use to me.

pikitta pie, increases dodge.
Thanks for the tip...
Still doesn't explain why I wasn't dodging at the DWB though...
Was I bugged? Possibly?

i think you are looking to far into this. they just have really good accuracy is all....not like your maxed out on dodge any way so that would help alot. i suggest the pikitta pie or get fencer or something.

Ok, from my visit there last night I can confirm I was dodging. Pretty good job really as i ran in the first room to find a bugged spawn (yet again...). I had 8 of them on me instead of the usual 2 so you could say it was a pretty good test.
Maybe it could have been a glitch that night or you were just unlucky on the roll for dodge.
