Thread: Pistol Accuracy Question

Kind of a noob-ish question but I'm curious about Pistol Accuracy or ranged accuracy in general. I PvP a lot and have come up against quite a few defense stackers lately. Does a higher accuracy mean I can counter high defenses? Its been frustrating lately as it seems I can't hit the broad side of a barn in more intense PvP. I also assume that if i would just stand still and not move I would hit these guys more but if I stand still I am immediately hit with the dizzy / kd / mind fire / disease / poison combos that the melee have.

Any suggestions?

Your accuracy is better while standing still. Unfortunately that is not always an option when melee'ers are bearing down on you...best to be able to get off as many shots as you can while still moving, then to only get a few shots off that you know will hit standing still, or kneeling. Look at the range mods on your weapon, those also add to your accuracy based on how close/far away you are. And think of asking the weaponsmith to put a scope on the weapon at assembly, that helps the ideal range mods, you can also get powerups. For the most part we can hold our own our accuracy mods are about on par with the max a defense stacker can do as long as your pistol's mods arent too bad.

Main thing being if you try to go toe to toe with a melee defense stacker and are standing still, you most likely will be knocked down...and even dizzy'd fortunately we have pretty good defenses verse that...and there is even food that can help defend against that...

Snow Cake. At least I think that's the food that gives a bonus to accuracy. Helps a lot.

Thanks for the feedback. . . i used to kite a lot when fighting melee but lately have come to standing still ... seems that the dizzy doesnt stick as bad plus it seems that dodge works better. Lately it seems that there has been an influx of crazy DoT weapons so I try to stay out of range andthink that is what my problem has been lately. I just need to accept the disease/fire/poison while i kneel in one place and hope my eyeshot gets them first

Man....BE'd chef food is your best friend and every defense stacker out there knows it. Even the playing field when you're in PvP and eat some Dodge and Accuracy food. It will help.

Aye. DOTs have are becoming a mainstay. Always helps to have a 656 mind poison DX2 though.
