I've been a BH for over 6 months now. I was thrilled when they dropped some of the requirments and i was able to pick up pistoleer My question is, now that i've decided to drop BH for a TKM/Pistoleer mix, what do you think would be best? I've already heard the most popular ones i.e. MP, BH pistols, and smuggler line. As i said i definately want TKM as a new template along with pistoleer of course. I was thinking of this:

Master Pistoleer

Master TKM

Smuggler 0/0/4/0

novice medic

the trick is...i've got 24 points taken up on those nasty force sensitive trees. I've decided that Jedi sucks and want to know if anyone has had this template or simular (sp?) before? Just thought i'd see what you guys think!

ouch, i didn't know you were stuck with them.

Your template looks good, i know a lot of people go master-pistol/smug/tk so by just going dirty fight in the smug line you have all the offense available in the smug prof at this time. Maybe after the smug revamp there will be another tree worth it but at this point i'd say your template is good.

So it is a common template to use? I've never met anyone with it (on Gorath). Does it still make a pretty good PVP temp. I know that's a loaded question... but i've had your temp (based on sig) and the MBH/Mpistoleer/novice medic before, and I think they were outstanding in PVP. Just hoping this new one will be. Btw, i'm doing this because i got sick of how hard it was to kill Jedi as a ranged BH...yes it can be done...but very, very, very, you get the idea hard.

From what i hear it's good for pvp, there are several in this forum so one will probably comment soon.

Personallyi would get 4-0-0-4 TK and focus on pistols, TKM is only worth it if you plan on tanking alot, with only 1 damage type and suffering from thesame Lack of AP as pistoleer. You will be far from the speedcap with M.pistoleer/0-0-4-0 smuggler, so far that with a stock republic blaster you will fire Last Ditch (highest damage pistol shot in the game) every 2.6 seconds and havethe highest DPS with HS2(what kinda sh-t is that).

If you plan on using pistols primary i would go either all out with Smuggler 0-0-4-0 BH 0-0-4-0 M.pistoleer and bespeed cappedhave decent accuracy and aDPS while using a 82 - 255 @ 2.5 republic blaster of 1500 ,you will not need medic because if you get low on HAM you can Feign Death, if you PvP then everybody targets mind anyway.

If you are 100% certain that you want TKM i would go

BH 0-0-4-0

Pistoleer : 0-0-0-3

Smuggler 0-0-1-0

TKM

You are speed capped with pistols and have decent accuracy and have what i consider one of the better specials in eyeshot, youalso have torso shotwhich stacks nicely with HS1 and HS2 and Bleeding shot. Though you havelittle secondary defence you have 94 melee def and melee mitigation 3.

Problem with that template is the 24 boxs of FS trees. I can't drop them Sadly, I guess i'm forced to go padawan and get the second char slot. I guess I'm just frustrated that I have to do that. I'm pretty sure TH said that you could drop all the Jedi skills once you open the second slot. This not being the case kinda makes you continue on to at least Padawan even if you discover you don't like being a Jedi at all.
