Thread: dots in duels?

i was wondering is it wrong to use dots in duels. i never really thought about it till i dueled another master doc/m pistol. well ui figured all teh more reason to dot well they got mad and said that it was wrong. so i was wondering how many others start the fight off with dot or use dots at all?

Nothing wrong with that at all, if they are master doc then they can cure all DoT's anyway, so I don't know what the problem is.
If you have invested points into CM then you should use it whenever you like, this was an old arguement where CM's are concerned...if they say you can't use DoT's then tell them they can't use one of their attacks... for instance, tell a TKM he can use KD/Dizzy.
Although I suppose this duel happaned in live and you are using a DoT weapon... DoT's are being removed from weapons in the CU so it's a bit of a moot point, although still... I cant see anything wrong with it.
A master doc should really not be worried about DoT's at all.

she was mad cause she said she didnt heal and it was srong not like i was a pikeman and use uber dots just some skills i got but i felt it silly but i guess that is how teh empire rolls being mad when they get beat cause tehy choce not to use there skills and get mad cause wedo

In general people need to agree on rules before they start a duel, otherwise anything is fair play.
Can't go moaning just beacuse you forgot to bring cure poison packs to a DoT fight now can ya.
Players often moan when you beat them... I used to receive all kinds of hate tells from my Imperial victims when I PvP'd as a Pistoleer/Combat Doctor.
