I went looking for a place to put this report but couldn't find a CU bugs thread in this forum.
On the TC EP3 I have made it to master pistoleer. There are a couple bugs I noticed and I figure other people are noticing some too so consider this thread as a place to post any bugs you find in the pistoleer profession on the CU beta server. If there is another thread elsewhere please let me know so I can copy and paste these there.
- Quick Draw: The speed of quickdraw does not seem to be any faster than body shot. Which At master pistoleer seems to make the special worthless.
- Disarming Shot: Does not disarm or prevent the opponent from firing.
- Warning shot makes the opponent +RETREAT+ which effectively means you cannot hit them until they return to their home position (next to a lair, or spawn point).
- Warning Shot does nothing in PVP.
This is a complaint more than a bug: Pistols are all basically the same. They all shoot red bolts, they have no elemental damage and pretty much all have the same sounds. This makes choice of weapons rather stale. There is nothing glamorous about getting that uber DE-10 and having it sound and look like a CDEF.

You need to use the /bug interface in game or post in the TC-EP3 bug thread.

I did use /bug in the game. But many times a developer will look through the profession forums to see the list of things that a particular profession has culled. Each profession should have an active bug list. It will make it easier when a developer works on that profession to fix its problems.

Well, if you post in that thread, they enter all the bugs onto their tracking software when they move the thread to the archive... it'll say the post I've linked to no longer exists but they keep em all for reference. Then they post a new thread to collect more bugs.
Bear in mind that the CU is still in it's infancy and we really need people like yourself who have taken the time to dilligently grind to master on test to provide feedback for all of us.
Having a centralised location for collecting bugs is better then hoping a dev will wander into this board, which I dont think they do on a regular basis, they may visit other profession boards to discuss specific and significant issues and queries, but for now Master Pistoleer isn't in the limelight as far as testing is concerned.
The bugs you've found definately need to be sorted, so go tell them what you have found, and thanks for testing our profession for all of us!

He is right pistoleer needs a bug thred for CU all other profession seem to have them and if anything we need a sticky of a compiled list of bugs for CU and i think that would really help sort things out just sticky one and it will get rid of everyone makeing bug posts. Just get one orginized

sticky it is then, Post here, but please post in the other thread, that one we know gets looked at. And any glaring bugs I bring up in correspondent forum like our Movement Speed Mitigation for recon armor.

in my testing (correct me if you find otherwise) Fanshot was not working as a cone. I had 2 targets infront of me and Fanshot was only hitting the 1 i had targetted.

Fanshot worked fine for me. I think what you are seeing is that the cone is really "tight". Its like a10 degree arc or something. So when things are really close to you they tend to not be inside that10 degree arc. However if you aim at stuff that is far away, that same 10 degrees tends towards a much wider area and you get the cone effect more pronounced.

*update* I just got Fan Shot to work... it seems Fanshot will no longer Agro no agro mobs.
Also, a very nice tactic for us to use, Always keep a good Rifle or Carbine in your inventory, once you get an enemy rooted that is using a pistol, switch to the long range weapon and go beyond 32 meters...
This 32 meter max range will be our greatest weakness, so we have to start preparing now.

Ok after a little testing i still cant figuer out if it works seems like it will once in a short wile but its hard to tell really because when i shoot and hit to things with it all the heal i take away has regened so i usilly miss what happend i think it may be randomly working though. Also is anybody else having problems useing improved bodyshot? It seems that sometimes it just wont work when im about to start a fight and i press it the toon just stands there its really weird just doesnt seem to work
