It's like this, I have been obtaining supplies for a high end De-10. Well yesterday I had two made, the first one was 3.5 152-409 damage, sliced to 515 damage. The second is 3.5 145-423 damage, unsliced. My goal was to get one De-10 over 500dmg after slice, since I got that on the first weapon, do you think I should slice the 423dmg De-10 now, or wait until the Smuggler slicing revamp?

Sliced 515 Damage De-10
Unsliced 423 Damage De-10

And for those who want to know, these were made with yellow barrels & 123 damage .6 speed tissues.

As we dont have a lot of info about the smuggler revamp then it may be prudent to stash it away and wait, but I would hope that we would get a "Respec" of sorts for sliced weapons, having the slice removed and being able to have it modded under the new system.

Also, you may want to see what it converts to under the CU, you may get a speed slice that means the gun converts to better DPS than the damage sliced one.

Or you could just sell it as is...

Well, if I decide to slice it and it is better than the 515dmg one, then yes I will use it. I doubt I would be willing to sell it, maybe to a guild member, but not for the mega bucks you would get on the trade fourms.

I guess the real questions needs to be in the smuggler forums, "Do you think we will be able to re-tune weapons sliced before the slicing revamp?" I am going to post this over their as well.

Thanks for the input, keep it coming people, I don't want to cost myself a gun like this on a bad slicing decision.
