how does the bounty hunter pistol chain compaire with a pistoleer. if anyone knows.

i'll let you know. i'm planning on taking both.

What if you went BH but didn't get the 4th level (Torso Shot)? Wouldn't that leave you 15 points, just enough to get novice medic and be able to at least heal a little bit? I guess the question is, is Eye Shot worth it, seeing as how that's the only reason I could see doing this? I personally think that's a lot of points wasted on rifle, carbine, and a couple of the scout lines just to get Eye Shot and some more accuracy. But, I'm not there, so I'm sure you know better.

I've also heard that once you master pistoleer that your accuracy is so high that the extra from BH is just overkill...but, again, just saying what I've heard from someone else.

Well, since I've completely finished both, here's my two cents :-P BH pistoleer has higher accuracy and speed mods than the pistoleer tree. However, Pistoleer tree gets accuracy on the move, ranged and melee defences, and resistances to stuff like knockdown and dizzy. The skills int he BH tree are nice. Torso shot has a nice fire bleed, and does the same damage as BS3, eye shot is great for pvp. Now in the pistol tree, stopshot does very high damage, and rocks for pve. Pistolwhip is an amazing melee skill taht does high damage for low action and knocks your opponent down. Healthshot 2 is also a great bleeder. I'm enjoying master pistoleer/bounty hunter pistoleer, but be forewarned, it's a very, very specialized template. After master pistoleer and the 4 pistol boxes in BH I have a whopping 13 credits left over. I can't even use stimpacks on myself if I need to. I'm a pistol god, but I'm also a one trick pony at the same time. If you like flexibility, pick one or the other. If I had to pick either Bh pistol or pistoleer, I'd pick BH pistol, however, just to be a bounty hunter you need the entire scout profession and the entire marksmanship profession. BH grants bonuses to accuracy and speed both. While it could be possible to have too much accuracy, could you ever have too much speed?

Too much speed yeah its called a Haste Cap, I mean this is SOE and something tells me that they have an absoulte minimum speed for wepons some where in the code.

Going from 81 speed to 91 gave noticeable difference in attack speed.

Personaly i am only taking stances and grips plus special ability1 tree in pistoleer with pistol4 in BH, leaves you with much more points to spent on profs like medic and CH, and you still get accuracy of 115 and speed of 91 wich seems just enough, i already miss so rare that it doesnt matter, and i shoot so fast that i can get out of action in a matter of seconds got to love seeing -35ham3-4 times before first one disappears
