Bounty Hunter Pistol Line to 3rd Tier

I played around with the numbers decided the advantage of gaining 4th tier in Bounty Hunter pistol line were outweighed by at least having some healing ability. Not sure torso shot is worth it over being able to heal yourself some. This template of course is designed to make you the absolute best gunfighter in the game. But as it has been said in other posts, it limits you to just that.

The way I see it however, if your playing towards the late game when most people will eventually drift over to the Empire or the Rebellion and are part of groups, you will do better being a specialist rather than a jack of all trades, which works well now, but will be less useful later.

Has potential, will definetly be a combat monster.

Not getting Torso Shot is a waste though. Having 2 DOTs ona mob helps a lot.

i just completed my char with the 4th tier of bh pistol and master pistoleer.. the torso shot is much better than bs3 because it does roughly the same damage plus u getting a dot causing wounds.. the pistol speed gets capped at 100 or so, so the the plus +29 to speed isn't that great.. and since accuracy for pistol is uber compared to rifle and carbine, u can't tell much of a difference til the devs fix this... imo, this template isn't that great.. sounds great, but isn't.. if the speed wasn't capped out, it would be killer.. and i know it gets capped out because i tested firing speeds with a friend who has the same template but not completed yet..

I have a similar build with a big difference. Master Marksman, Master Pistoleer, Scout with Explore IV, Survival IV and Hunting II, and Master Squad Leader. Eventual +25 to both range and Melee defense from SL will combine nicely with what a Pistoleer does. Not exactly a master at soloing, but with the group passive bonuses will be a nice asset late game. Leaves you with 1 skill point.

Nice that someone is doing Squad Leader, I think I'v seen one so far. I think it would definately be handy in larger PvP attacks and/or taking down bigger mobs.
