It seems that when I fire my pistol now, that my action bar is affected A LOT more than it used to be. I used to be able to spam specials, and I'd regen fast enough to keep it up. That is not the case anymore. Not to mention, the pistol that I'm using used to take away 31 points when I used BS 2, now it takes away 36. That doesn't seem like a lot, but considering that my stats and pistol are the same, it should not have gone up.

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or had a problem with it. Oh, and I'm a Bolthan with 700 quickness and 500 stamina, so my action pool should not be affected as much as it is, IMO.

It also seems they may have slowed down my action regen. This may really just be the problem. Am I the only one?

Couple of things

1) When you bought your pistol did it have a powerup pre installed? If so, the powerup was used up and it most likely was lowering your action requirement thus it went higher. Just slap a new powerup there there that is a +% action penalty to drop it back down again.

2) Have you had your weapon repaired? If so, repairing a weapon usually knocks down durability but sometimes a so so repair can screw with stats as well or even break the sucker if you let it get too low in durability before attempting repair.

3) Have you gained skill in pistol speed and/or had the gun sliced to fire faster recently? If so, it will seem like your action cost has gone up when in fact you are simply firing faster thus burning your action quicker.

I'm guessing its probably 1 or 3 myself. I havn't noticed any big action hike myself while playing so I don't think its a hidden nerf. If its none of the above, then it may be a bug, but its really probably one of the 3 options.

Wearing different types of armor will also affect your action poll ratings. Both for regeneration and action costs. Bone armor is the heaviest cost to this for the protection it does. Chitin is a good overall protection and lower cost on action cost and regen.
