I share in your frustration. The development team has a goal for the release of the Combat Revamp, but aren't sharing it yet. Believe me - when it becomes public, everybody will know.

I only hope that it lives up to expectations. Things will be a heck of a lot better, of that there is no doubt. But I don't want everybody thinking the answer to all of our problems lies in any 1 patch, as we seem to be gravitating towards now. It is a large step in the right direction, but SWG is an ongoing process. It won't be perfect, and we will have to be prepared for revisions. Be excited, but don't set yourself up for dissapointment.

For now you can stack your professions, get your pets, pick up medic, whatever you have to do (I'm stubborn. I haven't done any of this at all). We still have a ride in front of us until then. I didn't say anything specific, but if you want to speculate ona minimum time frame, the In Concept threads on combat roles are open through April... that info was posted by Thunderheart himself. After that there will be time spent coding it into the game, time testing on Test Center, and some tweaking.

As always, Test Center is a great way to see this stuff before it hits live. I know you hear that all the time and I feel like a shmuck repeating the mantra, but it really is true. By understanding what is being tested, you can voice youropinion on bugs & design changes early on before they arepushed to Live. Plus you get that neat TC forum where red names post with some amount of frequency.

Hi folks - trying to see if anyone has a heads up on the combat revamp ETA or Pistoleer update..

I'm *just a little* frustrated with the fact that they've made pistoleer weaker with the change to bleeds and that, after 9 months of operation Pistoleer still isn't a class that can stand on it's own.

If I can at least see the end at the light of the tunnel and know that we will be getting some love (after chefs, image designers, nerf herders etc) I may be able to convince myself that the class has a future byond maing every other class feel good about itself .
