Whats the best way to grind the pistoleer profession? At the moment I have been joining rancor hunting parties, but I was wondering if there was a better way to gain xp (e.g. PvP).

or Baz Nitch missions on Dath, and kill everything that stands in your way to and from these missions (but avoid MOBs that disease).

I did this for the first time last night, and with buffs, good armor and that mind buff Brandy stuff, nothing i fought could scratch me, even 2-3 at a time.

Get buffed and take huurton huntress / savage quenker lairs on dantooine and you can master pistoleer in 1-2 days.
