this rocks.... what i did was stat migrate so u have max mind. all my health and action are at its lowest levels. i figure i can buff myself anytime before a battle. Mind regneration is so fast when its maxed. with the additional skill points.. max out ranged combat. which is all u can really use it on anyway.

I have Master Pistoleer and Master Doctor. I can take alot of damage because of my buffs but Pistoleer blows so hard I do next to nothing in damage compaired to the other classes.Pistoleer is weak, very weak.

TKM/MD much better, i have been both before. Currently TKM/ Master Commando a solid PVE and PVP combo.

PIstoleer is not that weak, while we need to be un-nerfed we are still powerful. I am a master doctor and close to being master pistoleer, with a bit of scout, Its a great combination.

Hmmm I dunno. I consider this combo in close competition with pikeman/doc......

master pistoleer/master doc here. pretty versatile combo. healwounds, buff, deal some dmg. i can solo imp missions on rori 5k-6k with fanshot using a mediocre fwg5 73-250 1.8 spd or scout blaster 66-122 dmg 1.6. takes me 2-4 min to complete each mission excluding vehicle ride time. however, strong animals are a problem for me because i dont wear armor. but with a pet, i think problem would be solved. fanshot hits up to whatever number of enemy targetsi have sorta directly in front of me. so i can take down several stormtroopers down at the same time. if only if i had a better pistol, it'd be much faster.

Well, I don't know about other servers, but on mine doctors buffing stats are so common I have little trouble getting them. I don't see the point in taking doctor just so you can buff yourself, yeah maybe you have to shuttle back to coronet or whereever to get your buffs and lose a half hour or so of fighting, thats still not worth using up all the skill points it takes to get master doc. Now, if your doing it so you can make money off of buffing, more power to ya, thats not a bad idea at all .

I can see this as a good solo PvE template but if ya get into PvP with a true PvP templated character you won't last long, buffs or not. Its the same with the TKA/Doc combo, great for solo PvE but weak in the PvP department. It is a good support template for the GCW as you can hang back and heal and rez yer teammates and still have a little firepower and defense. Its all about how you want to play. With that said buffs aren't too hard to find and buy any more so personally i went with a true PvP template. Don't get me wrong we need our doctors and as many buffs as the docssell on my server they get rich quick.

I hear ya. I originally decided to master Doc since I liked playing one, and figured selling buffs would be the icing on the cake once I hit master. I rarely sell buffs anymore. I am burned out on making buffs and trying to sell them.I find it's more thrilling to make money taking down Rancors.

That being said, I can say that many Doc/Combat combos are awesome-- because we can self-buff and clear states. We're also well-loved in groups since we can cure poison, disease, throw massive heals, and rez when all else fails.

So, you have an awesome support profession for your group, and you also have an awesome support profession for yourself. I am very tempted to pick up something more damaging than Pistoleer (like an LLC ) but will have a hard time dropping Doc. I think Doc with Pistoleer, Fencer, Swordsman, Fencer, and TKA are solid. Nothing like a Doctor in street clothes tanking a pile of Gurks to make you feel invincible.
