I have dodge animation. When your in the kneel position you roll. When you are standing you kind of do a James Brown move to the side.

Some people want the animation taken out altogether because it stops the player from running.
I don't want it taken out. I want it to be modified so you do a sort of running duck.

the point is, why the heck did they take it out for everyone else and leave it in for us? It just gives us another disadvantage! ugh!

Good idea. I dont want it completely removed as well. I think animations are ok as long as they dont stop you dead in ur tracks. A duck animation would be nice. I just dont want to stand around break-dancing because Im dodging so much that I dont move 5 meters even when im burst running away from the CM that just mind poisoned me.

Leave the dodge animation in whilst you're standing. Whilst you're running replace it with the tumble animation.

I already reported it. The patch notes were in error; the fix was supposed to apply to us as well.
As for the animation being fixed for Fencers, I'm not so sure it worked for them either. I'm waiting for FURY_Chaser (Fencer Correspondent) to get back to me. Once that happens, Thunderheart can get working on this issue. I sure am dissapointed, though.

Nothing SWG related shocks me anymore. Unless something is actually fixed...

Just found out the fix worked for Fencers. Developers are on the case trying to get it to work for us. No ETA, but I'll keep you informed.

... and I thought the dodge animations were fixed... I remember my characterdodging a lot more than he does now one or two months ago (I estimate twice as much)-- and I've only gotten farther up the pistoleer tree since then... Then again there was nothing scientific about how I have been paying attention to this, but I do look more closely at the combat window now...
