Thread: Health Shot 2 the best? Please confirm.

Does anyone else agree with me that Health shot 2 will take down creatures faster than any other shot (even fan shot). Instead of spreading damage between all three HAM pools, all the damage goes to Healthwhich seems to killa single targetalot quicker. Not to mention it seems I can get more health shots off before a creature agros than any other special.

Yes, this is true for a lot of people. The advantage to Fan Shot is that it damages multiple targets in a cone. Sometimes I drop them individually with HS2 anyway.

Well, the nice thing about HS2 is that ALL your shots are hitting the SAME pool so it can be pretty efficient way to drop something. But as a person with smuggler specials too, I find I can take things down faster with Last Ditch even though it hits random pools. Both are great shots though. Nothing like using HS2 on a target that a CM got a good healh poison on hehe

I prefer stopping shot when firing on a single target.. may hit all 3 pools but it does much more dam... plus I'm capd at speed so thats not an issue.

unless you have a 1.2 speed pistol or some skill attachments..... just smuggler and pistoleer isn't going to get your last ditch to fire very fast..... sure it deals a lot of damage, but fanshot is most often faster, and so is healtshot2, which targets just one pool

While hunting Aakuan's I like firing HS2 till the get close then Pistol whip them and finish off with a couple HS2. I can eliminate them all with this technique in no time. Other types of enemies may require diferent tackticks
