Dude, these usually have at least 350 as their max stats without power ups (or slices), and the Geo is AP0 with only 45m range and almost everyone wears stun armor... so no, dual these would rule.

Plus, I think they're planning to do something about all the "must haves" in pvp. Like mind damage and stun weapons and such.

Who knows what'll be the best combo by the time we get dual wield.

Anyway, dual DE-10's beat dual Geo's in style any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Yeah but all armor has a higher energy resist then it usaly has stun.

Quick fixes to make the game fun now: NPCs using weapons and special attacks, reduced resistances on all except faction armor and percentbased encumbrance, faction armor craftable with improved resistances with limited use schematics from recruiters, no permadeath for faction pets, doc buffs percentbased, fixed BH mission payouts, more imperial crackdown activities, replace SBDs on the corvette with high ranking NPCs, reintroduce a Jedi TEF, reward overt players with improved payouts and faction gains

Armour piercing DOES NOT APPLY to PvP and hasn't done for nearly NINE MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys remeber wehn they added the 75% damage reduction to PvP? That's when they disabled the armour piercing in PvP, if armour piercing worked, would riflemen use T21s for the huge 50% damage bonus for annihilating your light armour?


Someone else already pointed out that stun armour will almost always carry a better energy resist but I will repeat. - effective sliced stun armour can carry 40% stun and 90% energy. you're 350 max damage gun will become a double figure joke pistol. sorry


We have to hope that the combat balance fixes the problem the game has at the moment with there beinga "must have" gun for PvP and another for PvE, I have serious doubts as to whether we'll gain any serious advantages PvP, but we may be levelled with the other guys a little, and that's enough for a guy like me, just give me a chance and I'm happy.
