Hi. I'mworking towards master pistoleer as well as master doctor, so my mind pool is a very important stat to me (not that it's unimportant to everyone else). I'm a zabrak for equilibrium (of course!) and have my mind/focus/willpower maxed out. I have one, and only one, important question:

Does a helmet only protect the head from hits? As in if I want to just protect my head, a helmet is all I need to wear? Or is the total armor rating of a full suit used?

I don't see how to beat a rifleman/combat medic otherwise. :/

Yes a helmetonly protects your head. If that is all you want protected then it's all you'll need. However it won't help you against a CM's poison or disease.

Ah, one more question:

How bad will a helmet mess up my mind regen? I've got the regen pool (think it's willpower?) at 1000.

It depends on the encumberance. Usuallythe mind encumberance isaround 200-250 on an unslicedcomposite helm. So that would take you down to 750 or 800 on your mind secondaries. If you get a good encumberance slice on it you could bring the mind encumberance down to around 100-125.

for pvp i wear stun layer comp. all i wear is boots, chest, helm and bracers. u don't need any of the other pieces, so ya stats arn't too badly affected
