Novice Pistoleer here, (BH 0,1,1,1)

Starting down the pistoleer track to give me a little extra, how do I say this....ummph, in combat. Just wonding if anyone would have any tips for me, especially in the form of what tree to go up and what weapons are best.

Rancors /w a good set of armor and a good DX2 along with a doctors buff. I kill an enranged bull rancor in about a minute with Fan Shot. Do Dant mission runs until you hit Tech 4. Its just how I have been working it. I'm sure there are easier ways.

go to BH pistols 4. once you get that, pistoleer is lterally a piece of cake. once you get to BH pistols 4, you should have enough combat xp to get stances 2 in pistoleer. that will bring you to the speed cap. also, your accuracy will be fairly high at that point. it will make the pistoleer go very fast.

get Bh pistols 4 then goto dant and do the like 17k missions for Thune or graul maulers, it will take about 2-4 hours rom novice to master pistoleer.

Put the pistol to your head and pull the trigger.. less painful then hitting master and realizing what a gimped profession it is.

I dunno, I just reached master pistoleer (Been a novice for 10 months) and I am really enjoying it.

I also have BH pistols IV, and Smuggler pistols IV, although I will be changing that soon to pickup more defense.

Yes, compared to the overpowered templates that many people are using in PvP right now, the Master Pistoleer is pretty weak. However, I'm convinced that SOE will nerf the crap out of EVERYONE in the upcoming combat balance, and that we will become "just as good" as everyone else.
