Thread: Pistol Grips or Techniques ?

Okay, I'm very close to getting the first box of Pistoleer after Novice Pistoleer and I was wondering which tree to go for. Pistol Grips III has Body Shot 3, which sounds very lethal so that is an option. The other tree I want to go for is Pistol Techniques, because Techniques III has something called Stopping Shot, which is supposed to kill with one hit. Does that really work on critters or is it just for PvP ? Anyone who's had both of those skills, Stopping Shot and Body Shot 3, which is better ?

Listen . . . there's a Hell of a good universe next door - Let's go !

Tech definatly.

Stopping shot does about twice as much as body shot 3. But body shot hits health, stopping shot will have a 3:2:1 ratio for hitting health, action and mind respectively. Stopping shot is awsome once you have speed to back it up, PvE grouping use stopping shot. PvE solo i recomend Body shot.

bodyshot3 really has a lower DPS then healtshot2, dont aim for it.

Fan shot from the tech tree will also help you lvl the other trees much faster.

Facts to Know:
1. Superman's only weakness is Kryptonite. Jack Bauer laughs at Superman for having a weakness.
2. When Jack Bauer goes to the airport and the metal detector doesn't go off, security gives him a gun.
3. If Jack Bauer saw a terrorist reaching for a bomb to blow himself up, Jack would shoot the bomb first. Nobody steals a kill from Jack Bauer.

Fan shot is great for grinding.

Definately Techniques. Grips is good for defences, but not much else.

Not to mention that Fan Shot's cone effect is very effective when grinding.

Hands down techniques is the first line to get in pistoleer.
