Currently I am TKM and working on changing my template to the pure pistols template. I have been TKM for awhile. Before mokk/janta became the way to grind out money. I'm curious...can i do as good, better, or about the same as i would with TKM in trying to make money on the missions. Or should i grind out money now while i still have the advantage of tkm...

Since combat in SWG is currently all about damage output (armor/buffs mean you don't have to worry about taking damage), you get more money with TK than you do with Pistoleer. You just do missions faster, partly because of the damage output, and partly because as a TK you don't have to spend any time kiting to keep everything in your Fan Shot cone.

So yes, if you want loads of money, you may as well grind it out now.

actually all i do as tk is kill the lair and go on...plan to do the same as pistoleer. wondering if the same tactic will give the same results...but from what you say...over all is no means i have to grind my money before i can have fun

If you only kill the lair then you will need to stick with TK, it comes back to Damage output again, pistoleer with Stopping Shot on a lair (which I think may be the top lair busting shot) will still be far below a TKM output. At least in my experience.

Same thing, I use TK when I grind missions cuz I can just bulldoze everything but as soon as I switch to pistoleer I start getting my business handled. It's all about the dmg output and pistoleer doesn't do it. Last ditch makes a hell of a difference though but the dmg doesn't seem to be constant enough like unarmed hit 3 to just blow through missions.

I dont know who 1 stared you but I gave you 5 ruh.

I find that I can do missions better as a tk dabbler than I can with master pistoleer/smuggler. I like to kill all the janta/mokk though just for good measure. So I would keep the TKM for a bit until you get a nice chunk of money and then when you go pure pistoleer you will still be able grind money when you want just not as fast.
