Okay, first off I'm sick of Ubese and Tantel armor, both look awful, and a thought came to my mind, what if clothing could add minimal resists to basic kinetic/energy but no special resists...say max around 3k, but they allow for enhanced mobility than armor, and somewhat negate the weapon hindrance when carrying a ranged weapon.I can't afford the fp cost to bio-link some Imp scout armor so my choices are limited to the two types mentioned above.
Right now I love how TK is not bothered to wear some ugly armor, I think it adds a unique flavor to fighting. Well if clothing could have resists it would increase the need for tailors, as well as diversify the look of your opponent. This would not stack with TK innate armor, but would add a minimal resist and mobility enhancement to those who really dislike wearing armor. Basically I'd like to see pve/pvp where everyone isn't wearing ubese, composite, or padded armor. If you want the extra protection of an armor there should be a deterant for the added protection, maybe adding to the action cost of special moves by 1 or 2 points, but other than that they can stay the same.
So what do you guys think about this?

would cause another major change to the base mechanics of the game... decrease the value of anyone wanting to play a TKM..... and cause another revamp....
maybe you can put it in their patch notes for CU 360, cause we know they will skip 2 through 359
a novel idea but not mechanicly efficent by game terms with the current setup the endure...
