Thread: Pistoleer specials and accuracy bonuses...
I think with our current count of abilities, some special specific accuracy bonuses would be very helpful to get our specials to stick. Actually if Warning shot were made significantly more effective I think this would help a lot.
Our specials really need to do more damage along with their special abilities as well. Look at our knockdown for instance. Firearm Strike deals out about 40 points of damage for me and we have to be in melee range(master pistoleer/master bounty hunter) while the underhand shot (the BH knockdown) not only can be done ranged, but also deals out about 200 points of damage.
Just a hundred or two hundred points of damage on some of these would really make a difference that wouldn't be overwhelming.
Warning shot could really do with a boost, that is in our current issues list.
I've got issues with Firearm Strike as well actually. I'm not fond of the warmup and the constant failures to KD.
It doesn't seem to have a very good chance to KD, same as pistomeleedefence1 which was a very weak KD move.
I've been playing about with it to come up with some ideas but not thought of anything yet, extra damage might be good. I'm just not sure why this move has a warmup at all.

I would like to see some more area attacks. We are supposed to be crowd controll. How are we supposed to controll a crowd if stopping shot works only on 1 person and it takes forever to cycle? Or you could give us an AoE pistol for master.
Well, thats the thing. The crowd control model we were all shown was used as a guide during development, and now we find ourselves looking for balance in the system we have now.
We need to me looking at balance issues and making suggestions for our profession based on what we want, not what were supopsed to be under the old model.
