Thread: DL44 335 dps / 116 sac worth using an ADK?
*bites his tongue*
I'm afraid you have wasted your krayt tissues in a horrendous way. Have a read of the sticky on pistol buying... it explains all.
Haven't actually bought it yet, but thanks for the insight
Plus, I'm not a pistoleer, so sac doesn't mean much to me. I'm looking at the DX because it doesn't require any pistol skill, and seems pretty fast w/good damage output at a base level.
I just figured the guys here would know pistolas ![]()

Phew! ![]()
I'd be tempted to buy it just so I could destroy it and no Pistoleer would have to suffer from its horrific action costs... evil... bad gun!!!! ![]()
You can get really good dl44xt's with under 85 SAC that are damage capped depending on what tissues you use.
Say you use +180 tissues, you can actually reach the hard cap for max damage on the DL44XT schematic and have low SAC so theres no excuse for a gun with 116 SAC.
The weaponsmith has gone all out for DPS on that one it seems.

I'm finding it really difficult to find any pistols for sale with less than 100 SAC, most are 115.
It's amazing the difference it makes getting one with 85 SAC or lower.
That's because the Weaponsmith is going to max out damage on the pistol before moving to lowering SAC. To hit the damage cap quick so that you can bring the SAC down to "good" levels, you need tissues or shards. Most 'smiths aren't going to place tissue/shard guns on their vendors. They usually do those custom jobs by special request (or at least, that's what I gather from reading everyone else's experiences.)
I can say that weaponsmithing is absolutely not as cut and dry as it used to be, and my smith and I got some excellent results on what to try better next time...
