Hi there I took a break for over a yr and came back after cu with a new char and made him a mbh/mpistoleer and rest skills in squad leader, so I was wondering what armor is the best there are so many diff armors i have never heard about. When i was playing there was only comp and ubese and comp was for pvp and ubese was for pve. I also so people running around with no armor melee/ranged modded clothes and was wondering is that better than armor?I appreciate all suggestions and statements and feel free if you know of a sweet armorsmith to let me know where to find one thanks. I am on the corbantis galaxy.

As a pistoleer your going to want to use stuff such as ubese or tantel. If your looking to spend some money on a good set they can get energy resists over 8000 easily. A set like this cost me 1.75 mill for 8118 energy resists. Great for hunting jedi, and judging by your template its what you aim to do.

thats how little i know of armors....i converted my old comp suit to tantel and it came out white.
but red...wo0t...i need a new suit, sure mine protects me well, and makes my @$$ look great. but i could look so much better!!!

well i think youll want the RECON which is the ubese ... tantel ... imperial scout ... reb recon armor ... for jedi hunting ....since lightsabers are energy based ... and also for attacking anything ranged based ( like the sith with blasters that you confront during some of the FS quests)
but for hunting animals ... the assault armor which ya get with BH is probably better ... get some with higher kinetic resists ...

Had a friend make it for me, the boots and gloves are 1 color only so had them made black and the rest red with black trim but arms are reversed the black should be red and the very dark red (yes it's there) should be black. Hopefuuly it will be fixed in a future patch. As gloves and boots do not give protection or have sockets you could sub tailor made one's made with 4 sockets for CA's.
