Hi everybody,
Ever since the CU, I've been wondering about my character. Up till then, I've always been a Master Pistoleer, Master Squad Leader and Artisan 0044. This Artisan 0044 I've taken on later ingame, to harvest some good stuff and sell it. It's one of my best incomes.
So that's not a prof I want to drop. Pistoleer neither, as I love pistols and have learned a lot about this prof; dropping it and taking on other weapons (rifles or carbines) would be too much loss of time.
After the CU I've dropped a lot of SL and kept SL 0004 and took up Bounty Hunter 0404. I dropped from combat level 80 to 71 and notice that I'm weaker when fighting.
I ain't jedi and neither tend to become one. I want an alround character, that can stand his ground against npc's and creatures, but also able to fight off some overt imperials I encounter...
I've read about CM4000, smuggler, BH, carbineer... What would complete me the most and make me as strong as possible, while keeping Artisan 0044 and Master Pistoleer?
I hope you take the time to help me with advice, thanks!

Hmm, maybe get rid of the squad leader completely and go for Master Bounty Hunter and Master Pistoleer? Then you can keep your artisan and should be cl80.

Master Bounty Hunter, Combat Medic, Doctor or even a combination of rifleman and/or carbineer would all be fine compliments. Doctors/Combat Meds are highly sought after folks, and either of those would be my suggestion.

I've noticed Rifleman goes well with Pistoleer, but you could just use an ALR if you choose. If you really do want to be a player in combat I suggest getting some sort of Medic, unless you can consistantly pick your fights. BH is also a good addition to any ranged profession. You'll really like underhand shot and Adv Crit.

y dont' you unlock jedi, so you can have an alt to be an artisan, then you can do what you want with your main (and it doesn't have to be jedi)

I agree with badger if your going to keep artisan then;
MP/MBH/aritsan 0-0-4-4 will leave 9 points left so take 4-0-3-0 to give you you the ability to harvest hides/bones/meat to sell also (scout 4-0-0-0 required for BH).
