I dont know if someone has already posted this but I thought i'd at leasthelp some people.

-Ok this is what you will need for this Strategy. (I did these missions from a base on Lok, but im sure it will work on Dant or another difficult planet.)

1. An ATST or several high HAM Faction or normal pets.

2. A crate of Tatooine Sunburn.

3. And a place to do faction missions.

Thats all you need, no buffs, no elite armor just a good old fashioned tank.

-Why faction missions?

Because they give good experience, you get faction points, and there is a chance they drop Force Crystals and Holocrons.

-The process

1. Go to a faction terminal

2. Get 2 "Large Base"missions while grouped with your pets. The difficulty level of these missions should be around 75.

3. Go to the mission, have your pet attack the base and the NPC's will automatically agro your pet. (Dont let your pet attack the NPC's, it will take away xp.)

4. All you do now is eat some Tatooine Sunburn and start shooting at the NPC's. I use Fanshot but you can use whatever you want.

The NPC's wont attack because they will have their hands full with your pet.

5. DONT LET YOUR PET KILL THE BASE! When all the NPC's are dead call your pet off, you should have made about 15k XP right there . Loot the corpses of the dead Rebels or Imperials, then run 300m away from the missionand then run back, the base will have full hp and all the NPC's should be back again and now you repeat the process. This time kill the base because if you try and spawn the base again the mission will go incomplete.

So right there you should have made about 30k xp in one mission... Now go to the next mission and do the same thing. By the time you get back to get more missions you should have made about 60k XP and only in about 15-20 mins.

I went from Novice Pistoleer to Master Pistoleer in about7 days doing this (im not that big of a power gamer so im sure some people can go faster than this.)

I made enough faction points to buy my guild a small hqand 2 Large turrets doing this.I also found 2 force crystals and 1 holocron. Plus I made about 500k =D

So use this if you want to, if you dont like this please dont flame me =)

Unfortunatley the loot off imperial NPC's isn't that good, and rebels do not have a high ham faction pet. So for you rebels the translated version is "group with a ch, or be a ch"

sorry sombreeclipse but making 3/0/4/x in 3 hours is B.S.

Thats 2million pistol xp, thats 666,666 xp an hour, which is literally impossible, considering that pikets only give off about 4k each, and at 6 a lair (if memory serves) thats 166666 pikets and hour, in 27,777 lairs - all in 1 hour,

well, NO WAY.

stop all the BS about grinding pistol so fast, its not possible so all u lamers stop trying to show off ure so amazing at the game, coz quite frankly grinding pistol in 3 days (if possible, cba to work it out) is sad.

I socall grind pisotl because my holo listed it, but im not going sit at my compujter for 3 days solid huntoing if i dont enjoy it, i have no interest in pistoleer but i want to get it out the way before i master bounty hunter.

Started with Torturs on talus. Kliknik (BlueLeaf) on yavin is good. And the Imperial Base on naboo is good too. Been able to take in 700k pistol xp (along with 4 holos :smileywink in one night.
