I have a dosh that is currently TKA 2-1-2-2 | Medic 3-1-3-0 | Smuggler - Novice | Pistoleer - Novice
I have a set of 80% kinetic composite. Never used buffs or spice/foods (not because I don't want/need to but because I have never had the opportunity-can't find em). I use a FGW5 I picked up last night for 2k stats are something like 2.6 45-171 (from memory).
Where should I go from here? And more importantly what weapon should I be using to get there?
I was using a FGW5 last night in dant groups and getting terirble xp (about 300-500xp per kill) ... switched back to TKA and got 2k from same mobs.
What weapon should I be looking for tonight? And should I be looking to geta speed or dmg slice on it?
My goal atmis the most group xp possible to advance quickly.
Also, I keep hearing about these 1k-4k pistol shots. How are they possible?! The most I did last night was 550 with OC2.
Thanks in advance for any replies!

It is good to have several guns, for instance a Republic Blaster, a DX2, and a FWG5 are a good set to go with and use them depending on the weaknesses of the creature you are fighting. You will want speed slices on your weapons mostly till you hit Master. You should go up the Tech line in Pistoleer first since it leads to Fanshot which is a major xp getter if you use it right, while going up the Stances line with combat xp. Doubletap is about the same as overcharge shots except it doesnt take condition off your weapon as much.

Do tech line first to get Stopping shot, it does the most damage, therefore giving the most xp against individual mobs, when fighting groups of mobs, fanshot, does less damage but does it to multiple enemies. Next line should be the grips, line, this gives you your dodge mods, which are extremely helpful.
As far as pistols go you will want several, A fwg5, Repub blaster, and a DX2. For the fwg5, as long as its 2.0 spd or lower it wont matter youll cap on speed pretty quickly with the speed mods that pistoleer give you. So damage is the more important factor for pistoleers. The stats on the fwg5 that you have now are not that good, you can do ALOT better, but it will cost you. Just depends on how much you have to spend, you could get a good fwg5 for around 10-20k, but you can get and uber one for 100k plus. I hit frequently for 4 to 5k with stopping shot with my fwg5, but i spent well over 150k for mine. The dx2 is nice because it has light armor piercing and does acid damage, there a bit slower than the fwg5 but very effective against a mob that has no acid resists but does have heat resists. Just check the resists on what your gonna fight and select the right weapon.
