Never use it. Like most pistoleer shots, it just doesn't work.

Only shots that work (and are worth the delay / HAM costs):

Stopingshot, Bodyshot2, Both Bleeds, Fanshot.

What bleed shots do pistoleer have? Did I miss an update?

Health Shot 1 and Health Shot 2 are the bleeds. Hea;th Shot 1 comes from Marksman Pistol 4, and Health Shot 2 is gained at Novice Pistoleer.

Im a pistoleer/smuggler build. From vast experience I can assure you that Last Ditch is by far the most powerful skill I have.

It wasnt too great before i became a pistoleer. Smugglers get no bonuses to speed or accuracy with a pistol at all, so the special was buffed up to make smugglers somewhat decent in combat. But once I got into pistoleer and mastered it, all of the added speed and accuracy made that special absolutely rock!

Now just to get a bit into fencer for the defenses and i'll have a very lethal combination.

hmmm i use bodyshot 3 alot, my best combo is pistol whip, delay shot, then spam bodyshot 2/3.

the reason i use them is 'cos its our only targetted HAMshot, therefore, i know exactly what im gona hit when i do.

i like last ditch alot also, but i dont see the point in hitting random HAM, when i can bring stuff down faster using bodyshot. hmmm as for it not working, it works fine for me, regurally hit for 800-1400, thats fine for me heh.

most used shots are bleed 1/2 stacked, pistol whip, stopping shot, last ditch, bodyshot 2 + 3 delay shot and feign death. cant say i ever use anything else - including fanshot!!!
